About the event

Blessing of the Backpacks

As a new school year begins, we invite all students, teachers, and school staff to bring their backpacks (or lunchbags!) to the Modern Worship Service on Sunday, August 3rd. During the service, everyone heading into the new school year will be invited forward for a special time of prayer and blessing led by our pastors. It’s a meaningful moment to encourage and support one another as we step into a new season of learning, teaching, and growing. Don’t forget your backpack!
