Come join the National Amusement Park Historical Association (NAPHA) for a special fun-filled meet-up at Idlewild & SoakZone! The park has been gracious to grant NAPHA members PLUS any card carrying members of amusement park/roller coaster enthusiast groups (American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE), Dark Attraction & Funhouse Enthusiasts (DAFE), Great Ohio Coaster Club, Western New York Coaster Club, etc.) EXCLUSIVE RIDE TIME!!! From 10:00-11:00 am, enjoy access on Rollo Coaster, Wild Mouse, and Flying Aces before Idlewild & SoakZone opens! And that’s not all! Attendees will have a picnic in the park, meeting at Pavillion C-2 at 12:00 pm. Please note that food will not be provided or catered by Idlewild & SoakZone or NAPHA, but you are welcome to bring in outside food and drinks or food from one of the park's food establishments.
Here’s the best part! Morning ERT and the pavilion are FREE! No registration required! If you are planning on coming, please mark as "Going" on Facebook Events. Please present your NAPHA or appropriate member ID and a valid Idlewild & SoakZone admission ticket or season pass at the parking booths beginning at 9:45 am. All attendees are responsible for providing their own means of admission to Idlewild & SoakZone.
Schedule for Sun. Aug. 3rd, 2025:
9:45 a.m. - Parking booths open and enter the park
10:00a.m. -11:00 a.m. - ERT on Rollo Coaster, Wild Mouse, and Flying Aces
12:00 p.m. - Group photo and picnic at Pavillion C-2 (near Paul Bunyan’s Loggin’ Toboggan)
Park Hours: 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
