The Winter Solstice symbolizes the changing of seasons from the longest night to the promise of spring and the slow return of light and life as the days begin to get longer. During the solstice many cultures or practices like yoga believe the winter solstice represents themes of death and rebirth, to new beginnings and fresh starts. Much like many of us do on New Years, we think of the end of the old year and are hopeful for what the new one holds. The solstice is the perfect time for introspection, reflection, and planting of new ideas or plans.
We will be honoring the Winter Solstice through the dynamic asana sequence of 108 Sun Salutations, followed by Intention setting through breathwork and a cacao ceremony. You will then get to make your own essential oil blend that helps you to recall this intention while wrapping up the day with a sound bath to root your intentions.

CANCELATION POLICY:
Trying to fill last minute spots for an event like this becomes very difficult. If for some reason we are able to fill a last minute cancellation you will be refunded the entire amount as a credit.
Info: Doing 108 sun salutations is not just a physical feat, it’s a moving mediation; a ritual of release, of intention, and of presence. Each salutation becomes a breath, a step, a moment as the body flows through the repeated arc of movement. We find space to let go of what no longer serves us & welcome in something new. This special practice helps move energy, activate internal heat or Prana, as the energy moves upward. This moving meditative practice can be cleansing & detoxifying.
There will be 9 rounds of 12 Sun Salutations with each round lasting about 15 minutes. Whether you complete all 108 or a handful, whether you take breaks or manage through them all, the practice is deeply personal so listen to your body & what you need at that moment. It's less about endurance & more about showing up - again & again.
Info: A cacao ceremony is a heart-centered, grounding experience that invites you to slow down, connect inward, and soften into the wisdom of your own body and spirit. We gather in a cozy, supportive space where you will be guided to sip ceremonial-grade cacao with intention. Cacao has long been honored as a gentle plant medicine that opens the heart, deepens self-awareness, and encourages emotional release in a loving way.
During the ceremony, we begin with mindful breathing and guided meditation to help you arrive fully in the moment. You will be invited to set a personal intention, allowing the cacao to support your inner journey. Together we create space for reflection, journaling, and quiet presence, followed by a deeply restorative breathwork or sound healing experience to help integrate your insights.
The energy of the group adds to the ceremony. Each person’s presence contributes to a shared field of compassion, openness, and healing.
Info: Bring your own lunch and utensils as we will be staying on grounds and taking the time to get to know each other. There is a full size refrigerator and microwave.
Info: Aromas have this amazing ability to help us recall and take us back to a place and time. You will be making your own 10oz roller bottle by choosing your favorite between a few selected blends. You will be guided through how to make it and some options on where to wear it. We are hoping the oil blend will help bring you back to your intentions whenever you need.
Info: We will be wrapping up the day with a 30 minute sound bath to relax and let your intentions and anything else that occurred for you that day to wash over you.
Info: We will have a brief discussion on how the day went and anything else you may want to share.
