Dom Glynn And His Sunday Best with Laurence Kingston / Kenan Flannery

Dom Glynn is a 28-year-old singer-songwriter and fingerpicker extraordinaire from Birmingham, who moved to London in 2016. Through persistent gigging as a solo act, he has developed a reputation as an impressive live performer. He combines a style of songwriting influenced by Bob Dylan and Hank Williams Sr., with a guitar style inspired by Mississippi John Hurt and Doc Watson.

Since moving to London, Dom has worked with the independent record label, Spiritual Records, to release an E.P. (Waster’s Blues, 2019), several singles (Never Free at All, 2019; Ain’t No Cowboys, Paper Crown & Wound Within, 2020; Every Spare Penny; 2023) and an album (The Devil Knows, 2023).

Praised for writing “bone-breakingly beautiful” music. Kenan Flannery is a 24-year-old IYMA’s award-winning folk songwriter from Dublin. Kenan at his core is a storyteller for the damned and broken, writing heart-wrenching songs and stories with a voice “that hits you with the intensity of a hundred Irish poets and musicians”. He mixes his upbringing of Irish folk/ballad music from the likes of The Dubliners with his love of American folk music and has been compared to the likes of John Prine, Townes Van Zandt and Blaze Foley.
