This Sunday | 4–6 PM | FREE SHOW!

Join us for an afternoon of acoustic magic with Violet and the Newsroom—a folk string trio hailing from central and eastern Kentucky. Featuring fiddle, bass, and mountain dulcimer, this multi-instrumentalist group blends old-time fiddle tunes with country, folk, and alt-indie vibes.

Formed at Morehead State through the Kentucky Center for Traditional Music, Violet, Anabel, and Clay bring both heart and harmony to the stage—with a name inspired by their love for fiddle and public radio (yes, two of them are actual reporters!).

Perfect way to wrap up the weekend—see you there!
