This weekly jam is meant to bring beginners and experienced musicians together. Consider joining the roster of mentors who will help host some of the sessions. Or think about switching from your dominant instrument (or dominant hand!). This is a wonderful opportunity to slow down and focus on technique, to ask questions, and to share tips with new players.
This is an all acoustic, all ages, and all levels SLOWish JAM to play traditional Old-Time music in 3/4 and 4/4 time. No percussion or bass please, unless you are able to keep a VERY steady rhythm (acoustic/U-basses may be amplified).
No food at the Old North on July 13 as they are preparing to premier a new menu starting July 14!
