Bringing Together Resources, Services, and Community Support
[Lexington, KY] – Saturday, May 31, 2025 – The Historic St. Paul AME Church, located at 251 N Upper St., Lexington, KY, 40507, proudly announces the Community Fair on the Impact of Incarceration on Families. This vital event is dedicated to supporting and uplifting families affected by incarceration. It will unite vendors, community organizations, and service providers, including nonprofits, legal aid professionals, financial advisors, mental health specialists, employment assistance programs, housing support services, and wellness initiatives. Additionally, for-profit vendors are encouraged to participate, contributing to the sponsorship of this event while providing a diverse marketplace for attendees.
History of the Event
The Historic St. Paul AME Church has been a cornerstone of community advocacy and engagement for generations. In January 2024 and 2025, the church hosted two pivotal community forums addressing the challenges families face due to incarceration. These discussions highlighted the urgent need for mental health support, economic assistance, and reintegration programs. Insights gained from these forums inspired the creation of this Community Fair, aiming to bridge the gap between families and the essential resources they need for stability and growth.
About the Event

The Community Fair will provide attendees with direct support through outreach programs and essential services.
