From the artists:
Craig Sargent – My process for Nature photography begins with an hour of sitting meditation at home, followed by two hours of mindful hiking and contemplative photography. These images are chance encounters, while using my sense perceptions as objects of mindfulness. If you would like to purchase an image that has been sold, let me know and I can get you a copy. Alternate sizes and media are also available (paper, canvas wraps in floating frames).
Susan Smith-Sargent – Susan is drawn to the subtle brilliance of the natural world and strives to capture its radiance through silk painting and layered mixed media. Through contemporary representation and abstraction, she illuminates fleeting glimpses of presence embedded in the fabric of ordinary life.
Brooke Pohl – I am a gardener and sometimes potter. Everything in these arrangements comes, literally, from getting my hands in the dirt. The surprises that emanate inspire me.
Maryam Kaykavoosi – This work is about presence. It’s about the spirit within trees, within spaces, and the quiet reverence of seeing.
