About the event

Dash For Dogs - 5k Walk & Run
The 2025 Dash will be held on Sunday, April 27th. Please visit https://runsignup.com/Race/ME/Lewiston/DashforDogs5kWalkandRun to sign up. Registration is only $30!

The Dash for Dogs 5K is a popular, yearly event held right at the GAHS on Strawberry Ave in Lewiston! It’s the perfect opportunity to kick off an active spring and summer by getting outside with our canine friends, while raising funds to help needy canines in the shelter!

Our 2024 event was a great success, raising over $14,000 after expenses, to help provide veterinary care, healthy food, tools for enrichment and much more. Huge thanks to our over 225 registrants, volunteers, fans, vendors and sponsors for this pawsome event!

*** Packet pickup will be on Saturday 4/26 from 11-2 at the shelter
