Egret Sailor’s Valentine

Join Lewes artist Kim Brown to learn about Sailor’s Valentines, a form of shell art that was popular in the 1900’s. In this three-hour workshop, you will not only learn a bit about their history, but more importantly, you will be able to try your hand at making one for yourself!
You will decoupage the center egret design onto a board and then embellish it with a seashell border. If you do not care for the egret shown in the photo, there will be some other designs to select from.
Your finished product will be in a 9” square shadow box. All materials will be provided, and no artistic talent is necessary.
$75 per person
12 person maximum
By completing this registration, you confirm that you accept and understand the following:
· When engaging in any craft or art project, you may be using tools and materials such as glue and heat guns, kraft knives, glass, shells, and chemicals (this list is representative, not all-inclusive and other tools and materials may be used). By completing this registration and payment, you agree to knowingly and freely assume all risk of injury or harm, both known and unknown, even if arising from the environment or negligence of the property owner, instructor, or other and you assume full responsibility and risk for your participation.
· Any special needs seating or other arrangements must be requested in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
If you are registering for more than just yourself, you must make your guest aware of all the information included in this registration.
Cancellation Policy: You will receive a credit toward another class by Kim Brown of Ocean Echo's, if notified of cancellation at least one week prior to the class date. No shows will not be credited or refunded.
