A Night for DD - Delta Boys & Friends

𝗔 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗗𝗗 - 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗧𝗔 𝗕𝗢𝗬𝗦 & 𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗦

On Thursday, 3rd July, we would like to invite you to join us at Radisson Blu Hotel, Letterkenny from 8pm, where we will be remembering our good friend, the late, great DD (Dermot Donohue) along with his band, The Delta Boys & Friends, to kick off the Letterkenny Blues and Roots Festival.

Dermot was not only a fantastic blues musician and an award-winning photographer but was also one of the founding members of the Letterkenny Blues and Roots Festival. This special evening will also kick off this year's Letterkenny Blues and Roots Festival.

He was a fantastic character and a friend to many, whose absence is still greatly felt in Letterkenny and beyond. Sadly, Dermot passed away in January 2023, after a brave battle with Motor Neurone Disease.

On the night, there is no charge - just make a small donation to the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association to support their vital work.

We hope you all join us for a fun-filled evening with great music, the festival launch, and lots of stories to be shared in our good friend's memory.
