The Unicorn Ceilidh at St Mary’s Church Hall, Baldock on Friday 9th May features The Pigeon Swing with caller Jane Bird.
The Pigeon Swing plays lively traditional Québécois dance tunes with an English style to get your feet really tapping! All the band members have been involved in many influential English dance bands, including The Old Swan Band, Flowers & Frolics, The Oyster Band, Gas Mark V and Tiger Moth.
Jane is an enthusiastic caller and dancer who will make sure everyone has a really good time dancing to the music with her wide repertoire of great ceilidh dances.
Interval entertainment will be from Bedfordshire-based Golden Hare Morris, whose dances come from the local traditions of Ampthill and Scouthall.
