Please join local PETA supporters for an urgent protest on Sunday, August 10th, outside of the San Antonio Aquarium, following a six-year-old boy’s injury from being latched onto by an octopus who would not let go.
Octopuses are playful, resourceful, and inquisitive animals that even cuddle with one another in their natural environments – but at the San Antonio Aquarium – these timid animals are deprived of everything that is natural to them.
Your voice is crucial in stopping this animal exploitation!
Here are the details:
WHEN: Sunday, August 10th, at 10:00AM
WHERE: San Antonio Aquarium – 6320 Bandera Rd, Leon Valley, TX 78238 (please see this map:

All materials will be provided. Please dress sharply in black bottoms and close-toed shoes. We must ensure that the focus remains on the animals without any distractions that could shift people’s attention. Please also wear a black PETA t-shirt if you have one.
Please refrain from bringing dogs, as there may not be a comfortable place for them to lie down during the protest.
Outreach events are a fun and effective way to help animals and meet local advocates – so be sure to invite others!
