Evelyn Cornejo ist eine chilenische Liedermacherin mit Herz, Seele – und einer ordentlichen Portion Rhythmus! Ihre Musik verbindet traditionelle Folklore mit Elementen aus Pop und Rock und bringt dabei lateinamerikanische Klänge wie Bolero, Bossa Nova und Cumbia auf die Bühne.
Doch nicht nur ihre Melodien gehen ins Ohr – ihre Texte gehen unter die Haut. Mit scharfsinniger Sozialkritik und poetischer Kraft wirft sie einen ehrlichen Blick auf die Realität in Chile und ganz Lateinamerika.
