Are you ready to learn something new? We are running a dedicated conversion to New York On2 class for experienced On1 dancers on Sunday 29th June at 2pm at the Ellesmere Suite in Leigh. If you have a good understanding of Crossbody Salsa On1 (inside turns/outside turns/Copa etc) then why not come and join us and learn this beautiful smooth style of dancing. Then after the class you can put your new skills into practice at Sunday M.A.S.S (Mambo and Salsa Social).
Sunday M.A.S.S is an afternoon of dancing geared towards the crossbody dancers (On1 or On2) with the very best in music reminiscent of the much loved and missed Salsology nights, which will be at least 95% Salsa Dura, Mambo, Old School Salsa, Salsa Romantica, Son and Cha Cha Cha.
There is free parking on the single yellow lines all around the venue on Sundays (around 50 cars) and there is free parking in Spinning Gate car park on Sundays, there is also a Tesco carpark where you can park for 5 hours (please check signs).
2pm - 7pm
2:15pm - 3:10pm - On1 to NY On2 Transition Class (Suitable for On1 dancers at Impr/int level who have a good understanding of timing and foundation Crossbody moves such as crossbody inside/outside turns, copas etc)
3pm - 7pm dancing with DJ Gillian (Salsology) playing the very best Mambo and Salsa to inspire the discerning dancer.
There is a licensed bar at the venue, please DO NOT bring your own drinks into the venue, this includes water, we will be operating a bag check as we will get charged/fined substantially for each drink or empty bottles found on the premises and will ultimately not be allowed to hire the venue again. Thank you.
