OPERATION SOLSTICE RAIN - The Drop (A License Level 0 Mission)

The planet of Cressidium has recently re-established contact with Union's ThirdComm, and you - mech pilots, fresh out of Union's training program and on your first assignment - are escorting the diplomatic mission to negotiate the admittance of Cressidium into Union. But when shipwide alarms call for dropships to be prepped, it would appear that the negotiations were short.
Time to get to work, pilot.
BOUT LANCER
Lancer is a mud-and-lasers mecha TTRPG which draws inspiration from D&D 4th Edition for a highly customizable, combat-focused play experience. Players conduct missions drawing from wargames designed with both success and failure in mind, ensuring that combat remains more than a simple slugfest. There are two parts to characters: the pilots, whose Talents give them their defining edge; and their mechs, which can be tailormade to missions with unique weapons and even different mech frames thanks to the License system. Player mechs are durable, but taking too much damage or overexerting them can cause your mech to lose access to weapon mounts and more as a mission continues.
