Join us for a preshow outdoor market featuring retro and handmade items (no relation to Handmade Films, George Harrison’s company, who’d go on to produce Python’s next film, but we’re not talking about that film, we’re talking about THIS film) between gate time and sundown, followed by the deeply serious and really not at all silly MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL, in which King Arthur and the Knights Of The Round Table set off to find and retrieve the Holy Grail (it’s in the title, you know), facing foes large, small, furry and animated.
You’ll laugh until you stop when one of the most quotable films of all time hits the mighty Mahoning screen and lights up the night with its very, very historically accurate account of the Arthurian legend, and perhaps a song or two which, while possibly not historically accurate, are done in a very tasteful manner, respectful to those who may or may not have been alive in the period, or who have studied the period, or use periods in their daily lives.
