On Sunday, June 22nd, The Mahoning Drive-In Theater changes the channel to a special digital presentation of one of the greatest, most moving celebrations of the power of the human spirit, the healing of creativity, an underdog story to last the ages…”Weird Al” Yankovic in UHF (1989)!
A lot of TV stations have forgotten what “quality” means, but not Channel 62. They NEVER knew what it meant! And with “Weird Al” at the helm, things are about to go where no TV has gone before!
“Stanley Spadowski’s Clubouse”, “Wheel Of Fish”, “Raoul’s Wild Kingdom”…they’ve got it all on UHF!
A cult favorite that’s grown in popularity in the almost four decades since its release, UHF is a hilarious mix of “Weird Al” patented song parodies, film and TV spoofs, good old fashioned slapstick, and a lot of heart.
