Summer Repertory Theater Festival

MCC-Longview campus announces inaugural season of summer repertory theater festival

Great news for fans of live theater and summertime: the Metropolitan Community College-Longview campus in Lee’s Summit is debuting a summer repertory festival.

• “Next to Normal,” directed by Keith Townsend: Pulitzer Prize-winning rock musical that explores mental health and family with raw emotion and electric energy. July 23-26, July 30-31, Aug. 1-2.

Each show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Longview Cultural Arts Center on campus, 500 S.W. Longview Road, Lee’s Summit. Tickets cost $10. Tickets and concession stand sales are cash only. To reserve tickets for a specific performance, or for more info, email .
