What:
Do you want to develop your singing voice, learn some new songs, and get experience singing in a choir
this summer? Come sing in the choral camp! Mr. White will provide the music for the choir, with the goal of
performing and recording a couple of songs by the end of the week.
Parents will have the opportunity to check out what the students learned during the last 30 minutes on the final
day of camp.
Who & When:
Incoming 5th-7th grade SCA students | July 21-25 (M-F), 10 am-12 pm
If your child is enrolled in Camp Eagle Summit, they may sign up for private lessons or camps that are during
CES camp hours on Tuesday and Thursday because CES campers will remain on the SCA campus on those two
days. CES campers may only sign up for private lessons or camps that are before 8:30 am or after 3 pm on
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Where:
All sessions will be held in the secondary band room (S122). Students will enter/exit at the front of the building.
Why:
Students will develop their music skills while learning to contribute to any ensemble! Camp is a great time to
try new things and experience performing in front of a small group to build confidence.
Cost:
Student tuition is $200 (billed through FACTS).
Requirement for Choral Camp:
Some experience with singing and reading music
Age requirement - entering 5th-7th grades
