Description
This First Aid Course will give the basic awareness training that is needed for anyone to help them respond decisively in an emergency situation.

This training will advise on the potential injuries that occur within everyday life, with additional information for those training or working within a sports setting.

It also includes the awareness of what AEDs (Automated External Defibrillator) are, and how they can be used in an emergency to save a life.

The course covers a wide variety of subjects, including:
• Head injuries
• Unconsciousness
• Control of bleeding
• Casualty Recovery Position
• Joint and bone injuries
• Epilepsy
• Asthma
• Diabetes
• Choking
• Allergies
• Strokes and Heart conditions
• AED's and CPR
All attendees will be fully certified for 3 years and will receive their personalised certificate within 5 working days.

An additional 2 hrs will be available for anyone wanting to stay behind and practice CPR or using the Defibrillator.
