As part of Scalarama Leeds 2025, Tiger's Leap screens She is Conann (2023).
The third feature film by Bertrand Mandico - preceded by The Wild Boys (2017) and After Blue (2021) - the film presents an extravagantly violent, female-led riff on Conan the Barbarian. Following Conann through her various lives, it traces her bloody metamorphoses, growing barbarism, and Saphic love. A queer sci-fi thriller that is equal parts gory and lush.
