Plein Air Painting for Beginners

Have you wanted to try Plein Air painting but need a little guidance? Now is your chance! The Lebanon Arts Council is Sponsoring this class to keep costs low and the creativity growing! You’ll be lead by Artist Anita Gordon as she explains the processes that she utilizes in her work. After a quick demo and intro, you will have the chance to start a piece yourself to try out the steps or go rogue and follow inspiration. Anita will walk around and give guidance, and then bring the crew back together for final tips and remaining info. Acrylic paint, brushes, cups, disposable plate palettes, canvases, and necessary equipment will be brought by Anita so you can show up without gear. If you would like to use your own supplies, have a chair rather than stand to paint, or prefer oils to acrylic, you are welcome to bring your preferences and she will guide you through adapted tips for your materials.

Your $5 registration fee reserves your spot, and goes towards the next creative venture by the Lebanon Arts Council!
