Nico Lang Interviews the American Teenager!

Join us in inviting celebrated award-winning journalist Nico Lang to the Raven on July 10th at 6PM to share their new, highly researched book American Teenager: How Trans Kids Are Surviving Hate and Finding Joy in a Turbulent Era. Brought to you by PFLAG Lawrence in collaboration with the Trans Lawrence Coalition and PFLAG Kansas City. Books will be available for sale and signing.

Along with our usual reading followed by a moderated Q&A led by bookseller CJ, with audience questions and book-signing to follow, we will have both Lawrence's favorite dry bar Nostalgia Room and our beloved college radio station KJHK 90.7 popping up in the store! Nostalgia Room will be serving a special menu for the night, and KJHK will broadcast the event for anyone who can't make it! This is sure to be an AMAZING night; we look forward to seeing you there!
