Chimney Swift Social

Our popular Chimney Swift Social at Sunrise is returning for the third year. We will gather at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, in the parking lot at the former Sunrise Garden Center, 15th and Learnard. We will listen to a presentation on these fascinating birds as the swifts circle overhead and eventually drop into the chimney for the night. Bring your neighbors, lawn chairs, and a water bottle. We will provide ice cream bars. In case of uncertain weather, check our Facebook page for updates.

When you arrive, you will see a big For Sale sign at the property. At this writing, Sunrise has not yet sold and the property owner has given us permission to hold this event.
