Training in the Park - Riverfront Park, Laurel

Saturday, August 9th from 9:00 - 10:00am
Limit 15 dogs, each dog must have a handler

Come join us for practice leash walking on a paved path along the Patuxent River in Laurel. This park is lovely and offers many real world distractions, other dogs, kids on a playground, anglers, bikes & more. We will walk & train on the path taking small detours along the sides for practice of various skills, including some distance work if your dog is ready for that (bring a long leash or drag line, 15 ft max). The total walking is a little over a mile down & back and is mostly shaded. At the end, anyone who wants to can walk back on the wooded path for some nice photos & a romp in the river.

We will meet in the parking lot at the "End of, Main St, Laurel, MD" (Yes, that is the actual address - it's past the Laurel Municipal Pool).
