Here is your chance to qualify for the March regionals. Door will be at 12 pm with boards starting as soon as we have a full field. I will be running boards all day. No need to preregister just show up. Show early to guarantee your spot in a qualifier. Which ever format is full first will be run. If we have enough players to run both formats at the same time, we will. You can only play in one format at a time.
Rules of Participation:
Must be on an active roster in the format being played.
Must have at least ten league match scores during the last two years in the format being played.
A minimum of 8 players are required to run a Local Qualifier Board, and a minimum of 16 players to run a Splash Board.
8 Person Qualifier Board (single elimination) is $20 and will only advance 1 person to the regional tournament.
16 Person Qualifier Board (double elimination) is $44 and will advance 5 people to the regional tournament.
Current APA game rules apply.
No timeouts or coaching is allowed.
Each match is a race to skill level (same as league play matches)
Valid picture I.D. is required to participate at the Local, Regional and National levels of the National Singles Program.
There are two qualifying Season Windows during each calendar year:
Season 1: January 1 – June 15
Winners advance to the Fall Regional in October
Season 2: June 16 – November 30
Winners advance to the Spring Regional in March
Winners of the Fall & Spring Regional tournaments advance to the National Championship at the Westgate Hotel in Las Vegas in April.
