'Within' challenges the conventional notions surrounding portrait painting, inviting viewers to reevaluate their assumptions about this ancient art form. Rather, portrait painting is a dynamic, expressive genre that continues to evolve and captivate audiences. It is an art form that not only reflects the complexities of human identity and experience but also reveals the artist's own cultural and sociological background, their unique perspective, and their intimate relationship with the model.

This multifaceted showcase brings together 30 local, national, and international artists at different stages of their careers, each contributing their unique perspective and style.
