LAUNCESTON HEAT OF THE 2025 AUSTRALIAN POETRY SLAM at the TASSIE LAUNCH

The LAUNCESTON HEAT of the Australian Poetry Slam 2025 will take place at the APS TASMANIAN LAUNCH at 7pm on Saturday 30th August at the Gunners Arms. Over 18 years old? Got your own original poem less than two minutes long? This is for you!!!ENTER ON THE NIGHT from 6.30pm for your chance to represent Tasmania at the APS Final at the Sydney Opera House in October! Come and be in the audience ($5 entry at the door) to cheer on your favourite poet! The Launceston Heat is hosted by Words United. This year there will be more Heats than ever, and loads of Workshops around the State with the Lonnie Launch starting it all off!
