Labor Day Celebration 9/1/25

Last year on Labor Day, over 1000 union members and their families came together to reclaim Labor Day. After years of having separate gatherings and parades, the entire union community came together and had a splendid family day celebrating the contributions of working people and their unions. It was a lot of work and a tremendous success.

This year the celebration will take place Labor Day, September 1st, 2025 from noon to 4:00 pm at Lanthier's Grove in Latham. Like last year, the event is open to all union members, retirees and families and is free to the attendees. But learning from last year, we will have more food stations, shorter lines and more family friendly activities. An endeavor like this takes lots of teamwork, volunteers and money. We need your help. We are looking for contributions and volunteers. And we are looking for headcounts by August 25th. Another successful day will demonstrate to the world that the labor movement is united and ready to face any challenges together.
