About the event

Build a Bed for Kids in Need
No tools needed, no experience needed. All beds go to Las Cruces kids in need.

All volunteers are welcome. 18+ only for any power tools. We are making five beds on this build day.

In short: we meet, we cut the lumber, we sand the lumber, we assemble the lumber, we paint the frame, and then we deliver it to a family in need (as identified confidentially through LCPS) along with a mattress, blankets, and pillows.

Each bed with frame, bedding, and mattress costs us about $125 to make. Thank you to all those who support the church in order to make this possible. We are thankful for the ability to help kids in need like this.
