UFC Largo Gym will be hosting their 1st Annual in-house STRONGMAN competition.
This event is unsanctioned and is an entry level competition for men & women ages 16 and up to step onto the floor competing in 5 grueling feats of strength to see if they have what it takes to be crowned The Strongest Contender!

All entries must be submitted by Sunday, July 20th, 2025, at 11:59PM. Iron Podium is the only form of entry. Order of entry does matter for 1st event advantage. No refunds will be issued.

EVENT RULES: *Subject to change - all current information listed here & updated if there are changes.
FOR ALL EVENTS:
Competition shirt must be worn at all times!
No bare feet (must have at least socks on)
No tacky or sticky substance!
No gloves
No build up belts (only one hard and one soft)
Any athlete who leaks any body fluids (blood, urine, vomit, etc.) on the competition field must help clean it up!
There will be 1-2 lanes per event!
MEDALS/TROPHIES + GIFTS TO TOP 3 PODIUM FINISHERS PER CLASS
EVENT 1: YOKE CARRY / SLED PUSH
Time: 60sec.
Scoring: DISTANCE/FASTEST TIME
Athletes will begin under the yoke.
On the judges' command athlete will carry yoke 40ft to finish line. (Front of yoke must pass line)
Unlimited Yoke Drops
2 SECOND PENALTY for intentional sliding of yoke (MUST BE CARRIED)
Then, athlete will run back to behind the sled and push sled 45ft across finish line (front of sled must pass line)
Equipment Allowed: Belts (1 hard, 1 soft), elbow/knee sleeves, chalk.
NO SUITS! NO TACKY!
NO WRIST STRAPS, WRAPS, OR FIGURE 8’S!
NO GRIP SHIRT!
EVENT 2: MAX DEADLIFT (3 ATTEMPTS)
Time: 30sec. per attempt
Scoring: MAX WEIGHT
This event is conducted on a Deadlift Bar.
Athletes can begin strapped in.
Athlete will have 30 seconds to complete lift.
Athlete must wait for the “DOWN COMMAND”
Athletes have 3 attempts for max weight. (details explained later)
Heaviest successful attempt will be recorded.
Equipment Allowed: Belts (1 hard, 1 soft), elbow/knee sleeves, wrist straps, figure 8's.
Must have knee high socks!
NO DEADLIFT SUITS ALLOWED!
NO TACKY! NO GRIP SHIRTS!
Chalk allowed and will be provided.
EVENT 3: TRUCK PULL
Time: 60sec.
Scoring: DISTANCE/FASTEST TIME
Athletes will start strapped into harness with guide rope in hand.
On judges' command athlete will attempt to pull vehicle 60ft across finish line.
Front tire must touch or pass the finish line.
Equipment Allowed: Belts (1 hard, 1 soft), elbow/knee sleeves, wrist wraps, special shoes.
Chalk allowed and will be provided.
NO SUITS! NO TACKY!
EVENT 4: OVERHEAD PRESS AWAY
Time: 60sec.
Scoring: REPS
Athlete will begin under the barbell.
On judges' command athlete will un-rack the barbell and begin pressing the barbell.
Athlete must wait for down command for rep to count.
Athlete must have elbows fully extended and showing control.
If barbell touches rack or falls to ground time stops and only completed reps will be counted.
Equipment Allowed: Belts (1 hard, 1 soft), elbow/knee sleeves, wrist wraps.

NO Grip Shirts
Chalk allowed and will be provided.
EVENT 5: ATLAS SANDSTONE OVER BAR
Time: 60sec.
Scoring: REPS
Athlete will begin in front of yoke with hands on crossbar.
On judges' command athlete will grab, clean, and load Cerberus Strength newest Atlas Stone Sandbag over bar.
Athlete will complete as many reps as possible back and forth over bar till time stops.
If atlas sandbag in off ground when time runs out if athlete can load sandbag over bar that rep will count.
Loading Bar Height Males 52" & Females 46"
Equipment Allowed: Belts (1 hard, 1 soft), elbow/knee sleeves.

Chalk allowed and will be provided and RECCOMENDED.
