Poetry & Jazz at The Blue Owl — Sunday, Oct. 5

Enjoy a FREE Concert featuring cool jazz & hot spoken word — at The Blue Owl Coffeeshop in REO Town, 1149 South Washington Avenue in Lansing on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025, from 3-5 PM.
Spoken Word artists include: Jay Artemis Hull, Lisa Sarno, & Ruelaine Stokes, Lansing Poet Laureate.The jazz trio will feature Steve Talaga on keyboard, Hank Horton on bass, and Larry Ochletree on drums, with vocals by Mike Eyia of Orquesta Ritmo fame.

This free concert is brought to you by the Lansing Poet Laureate Project, sponsored by the Arts Council of Greater Lansing, the RCAH Center for Poetry at MSU, and the Lansing Economic Area Partnership.
