Alphapointe Adventure Camp

Alphapointe’s Adventure Camp introduces youth to a variety of traditional outdoor camp experiences, but specifically focuses on the needs and considerations for youth with vision impairment from ages 11-21. Campers are taught outdoor and recreational skills to complement their knowledge of the natural world. Younger campers have the opportunity to practice functional, social, mobility and independent living skills, while forming friendships and having fun! Older campers experience cookouts, creative arts, archery, hiking, swimming, a ropes course, horseback riding, zip-lining and more. Campers learn fundamental skills that help them learn, play and grow in a camp atmosphere. Camp helps youth learn independence and social skills to develop into successful teenagers and helps older youth become successful adults.
