We have access to the kitchen at Advent House starting at 1 pm. We have found we don't need that much time to prep food for serving the meal at 3:30.
We move everything into their dining hall around 3:20 to serve food at 3:30.
We do not have to clean the dishes after. The kitchen manager takes care of all of that. So, we can leave right after serving, which is usually by 4:30.
Also, all food donations for the meal should come to Chelsea Thiede by day of if you are not coming to serve as well. If you are coming to serve, you can just bring it with you.
We are supposed to provide enough for 120 people. So, on the Sign Up Genius each food item is split up into providing enough for 30 people x4 slots to make it easy for everyone to contribute.
All their doors are secured, so feel free to contact me when you get there to get inside.
