Summer Reading Kickoff

Mark your calendars. Our Summer Reading Kickoff celebration will be here before you know it!

Stop by the library on June 20th for a special set of activities. From 3:00-3:45, Family Stages will be at the library to put on a production of Robin Hood. This performance features two actors performing all of the roles.

After the performance, soft pretzels will be available. Then, the festivities continue with a Summer of Superheroes Coloring Event from 4:00-5:00. We will attempt to have every superhero in coloring page format, and we'll make a colorful Wall of Heroes with the finished products.

Our Summer Reading theme is Color Our World, and we have some giveaways to showcase that theme. We'll have tie-dye frisbees as well as some other fun items.

Programs like this would not be possible without the generous support of The Friends of the Lansdowne Public Library. Their dedication to providing reading and learning opportunities to youth is immense.
