We'd love your help up at Goblin Combe Lodge on our next volunteer day - can you spare us some of your time? A friendly, welcoming atmosphere is assured, with plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits on hand as ever.
Date: Monday 8th September 2025
Time: 10am - 2pm
Tasks: More work to refresh the cottage; repairing and replacing boundary fencing; strimming and cutting back overgrown paths in the woodland and lodge site. All welcome, whatever your skills.
Remember: Wear clothes and sturdy shoes suitable for the weather. Bring a lunch and water bottle (we'll provide biscuits and drinks). We always have a great time in these lovely surroundings, and enjoy the peaceful moments as well as the tasks at hand.
Getting to us: Goblin Combe Lodge, Cleeve Hill Rd, Cleeve, BS40 5PP; What3words: burns.leathers.coached (road entrance). Access to our site from Cleeve Hill Road is through Stoneswood Farm, which is separately owned. The entrance is marked by a waymarker sign on Cleeve Hill Road reading 'Goblin Combe Lodge'. You will need to go through the gate off the road, which takes you through the right hand side of a small caravan site (not owned by Groundwork), and then there is a second gate leading into our site. Please ensure both gates are closed behind you when entering and leaving the site.
