Discover Inner Peace and Vitality: Qi Gong & Mindful Walk on Mt. Greylock
Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Mt. Greylock, the tallest mountain in Massachusetts, while rejuvenating your mind, body, and spirit. This special event combines the ancient practice of Qi Gong with a gentle forest walk in the fresh mountain air.
Mindful Walk starts at 1:00 pm at the Visitor Center
This will include a calming standing meditation, a few gentle Qi Gong movements to awaken your energy and connect deeply with nature, and a forest meditation by the stream.
Qi Gong session starts at 1:45 pm back at the Visitor Center for those who want to join us for just the Qi Gong session (without the walk).
What we will do:
· Standing Meditation and Opening Movements: Begin with a calming standing meditation and a few gentle Qi Gong movements to awaken your energy and connect deeply with nature.
· Scenic Forest Walk: Embark on a serene walk through the trails of Mt. Greylock, where Jala will offer prompts to awaken your senses as you mindfully walk through the woods.
· Qi Gong Session: Enjoy a 30-minute Qi Gong practice at a beautiful spot on the mountain, harnessing the energy of the surroundings to enhance your well-being.

Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle movements, breath control, and meditation to cultivate and balance the body's vital energy, known as "Qi." It is renowned for its health benefits, including stress reduction, improved circulation, and enhanced overall vitality.

About Your Guide:
Jala Pritchard has recently returned to the Berkshires after a 30-year medical career in the Pittsburgh area of Pennsylvania. Yoga, Qi Gong, and meditation all played a vital role in Jala’s ability to handle the stress of her career. Seeking to share this, she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at the Himalayan Institute in Pittsburgh in 2014. She also studies Qi Gong with Ruby Aver, a 30-year Qi Gong teacher in Housatonic, MA.
With a passion for holistic health, Jala now focuses on promoting healthy lifestyle choices that create the environment for optimal health and well-being.
