Great Northern War

This is the largest event for the Society of Creative Anachronism in Queensland, featuring battles, tournaments, merchants and markets, camping, classes and courts, entertainments and much more.

This event sees us returning to the same site used for GNW 2024. The site has proven to be mobility friendly, wheel chair accessible, with disability showers and toilets. It has plenty of space for camping, with access to some powered sites and also has bunks to accommodate wayfarers.

Our stewards and their team will continue to build on the positive vibe and excitement that GNW 2024 ended with and to continue growing the premier Northern Reaches event for all to enjoy.

Gates open for onsite accommodation at 12pm Friday 6 June
Event commences 4pm Friday 6 June
Event ends Sunday after closing court, with site pack down after breakfast on the Monday (everyone off site by 12pm).
