The tides around Morecambe Bay and the Estuary

Dr Mike Warren returns to LCV for his talk on The tides of Morecambe Bay and the estuary.

'I was a GP in Milnthorpe for almost 40 years and also worked at St John’s Hospice in the early days and was a trustee and chairman as well as joining national advisory bodies - this life was the stimulus first my last talk to LCV. Having lived and worked in the Arnside and Silverdale National Landscape (formerly AONB) for most of my working life, I have been delighted in retirement to learn about it properly having had no time to enjoy its delights whilst working. In the talk I will explain how the tide talk came about.'
