Stitches In Time – sewing drop in

Uncover the hidden lives of the servants at Judges's Lodgings in these welcoming sessions run by Lancaster Sewing Café. Try your hand at sewing and embroidering on vintage fabrics to reveal the rules and regulations of Georgian and Victorian servant life. And remember, 'Idleness Hath Clothed Many in Rags'!

Lancaster Sewing Café is a grassroots project that advocates for an ethical textile industry and regenerative textile practices.
