Adventures of the Vintage Travel Bars

A journey through the cocktail culture with an unexpected side trip to a sober lifestyle

It all started when I began planning to become a trail angel....a trail angel needs a travel bar, doesn’t she? To bring craft cocktails to the resting thru-hikers, of course. And soon I came across a piece of vintage luggage disguised as a briefcase, but designed for a few bottles of booze and aluminum cups for drinking. This is all wrong, I thought!

We deserve an elevated cocktail experience which conjures a sense of nostalgia. And we need a space for bitters and shakers and juicers and proper glassware. So I set out to curate my first travel bar - The Happy Traveler.

But then an unexpected trip to the cardiologist changed everything. Can someone who is sober still enjoy cocktails? The answer is a resounding YES! And in sophisticated style!
