Autumn in the Wild: Learning, Creating, Giving Back - Habitat Walk Flett Cr
Explore the powerful benefits of trees on a guided walk through Flett Creek. Observe how this unique oak grove cools the land compared to the neighboring built environments, and discover how community stewardship shapes healthier ecosystems. This class blends science, observation, and nature appreciation in a local outdoor setting.
This event will take place rain or shine, please dress appropriately. Bring your own water bottle, sunscreen, appropriate walking shoes, etc. As the event draws near, we'll email specifics on parking and gathering location. All ages welcome, kids must be accompanied by a guardian.
The area of Flett Creek we’ll be visiting is a restoration area. Since we don’t want to disturb the wildlife that is there, we kindly ask you not bring pets. Terrain is a little uneven.
For more information about the location, see Natural Resources Laboratory & Research Park at Flett Creek | Clover Park Technical College.
No need to print or show tickets, this registration is to make sure we have enough space and materials, and to communicate final details to you!
