National Canoe and Kayak Day
Lake Open for Passive Boating This Thursday!

We’re opening the lake this Thursday from 8am - 12pm for passive boating activities like kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboating. Kayak rentals & launches also available. Bringing your own kayaks? Please purchase a day use permit and boat launch at the bait and tackle shop. NO FISHING PLEASE!

Personal Kayak Requirements: Per the Dept. of Health, Division of Drinking Water, all kayaks should be sit-inside kayaks, at least 10 feet long, not self-bailing, and have seats for all persons inside.

No sit-on top or inflatable kayaks are permitted.

It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a peaceful paddle and take in the beauty of the lake. Don’t forget your life jacket—and your camera!
