2025 Summer Reading Kickoff Party

Let’s kick-off the summer at the 2025 Summer Reading Kickoff Party, hosted by the Lake Wales Public Library. This year’s theme is Arts Color Our World. The event is free and takes place on Thursday, June 12th at 10:30a.m. at the park across from the library.

Kids will get the chance to dance and play in a sea of foam and bubbles. The Florida Foam Factory is back with its mix-master DJ and foam-blaster cannon. Kona Ice will also be on site with delicious treats. Plan to bring towels and other accessories - the kids will get wet. The event is facilitated by the Library's Youth Services Program and sponsored by Mountain Lake Community Service.
