Blazing Stars and Sunsets at Beaver Lake Nature Preserve

This event is hosted by Friends of the Sands in partnership with DNR.

Beaver Lake Prairie has an extraordinary display of blazing stars, particularly in years in which the area south of 600 North is burned, like it was this past spring. Come on out for a short amble that is mostly focused on admiring the prairie and then enjoy what we hope to be a stunning sunset to the west. Bring a chair and a story for the sunset watching.
