These engaging sessions are perfect for young innovators aged 5-14, providing a unique opportunity to build, program, and create with cutting-edge tools. From making robots move to modding their favorite video game, we have an adventure waiting!
What Your Child Will Experience:
LEGO® Robotics (Ages 5-7): Learn fundamental engineering and coding by building and programming fun robots with LEGO® Education SPIKE™ kits.
VEX GO Robotics (Ages 7-10): Dive into building and racing super cars, mastering motors, and coding for control using the VEX GO system.
VEX IQ Robotics (Ages 10-14): Take on advanced challenges, building sophisticated robots, learning controller operation, and even playing robot soccer with VEX IQ!
Minecraft Coding & Modding (Ages 8-12): Transform their favorite game by learning block-based programming concepts and how to design custom elements within Minecraft Education Edition!
All workshops are completely FREE! New Spark Lab students only. Spaces are limited to ensure a high-quality, personalized experience for every student. To allow as many families as possible to participate, we kindly request one workshop position per family.
The Minecraft workshop offers both onsite (in Lake Forest) and online (via Zoom) participation options, with specific laptop requirements for some onsite spots.
