Whether you hear CCR's "Run Through the Jungle" or visualize giant leafy plants all around, the term "tropical" in gardening generates a myriad of different definitions for what it should be. Is it bananas? Is it bamboo? Or palm trees, perhaps? In this class, we'll take a look at some of the basic requirements for cultivating marginally hardy plant material, considerations for its design and long-term benefit (such as methods of overwintering), and examples of plant selections and sources from which to purchase them. Whether you're bananas for tropical plants or bamboozled by their complexity, "Gardening with Tropical Flair" is for you!
