Tea Towel + Cork Trivet Set: Maui Farm Events x East Wind Print Co.

Explore the exciting medium of block printing with this fun creative workshop!
This three hour class is the perfect opportunity to try something new and create a functional piece of art that you can take home to use and cherish for years to come.

The class starts out with carving your own stamps, working through each of the steps of the process by developing your image, transferring it onto your block, and then carving it out by hand. Once the carving is done, you will use your stamps to decorate a set of two flour sack tea towels and a matching cork trivet.

Beginners Welcome: No experience is necessary! We’ll provide everything you need, from the carving tools to the ink, and our experienced instructor will be there every step of the way to help guide you through the project and provide assistance.

Take Home Your Creation: Students will be able to take home their finished towel and cork trivet set at the end of the class and begin using them right away! The stamps are also yours to keep, and make a wonderful addition to any craft supply collection. They can easily be used at home in the future to make greeting cards, decorate textiles, or whatever other stamping projects you can dream up.
