About Your Hosts

Stephanie Karzon Abrams is a neuropharmacologist and the founder of Beyond Consulting, where she drives science, strategy, and operations for organizations in the psychedelic and plant medicine sectors. She is the Clinical Director at Modern Medicine Services, a prescriber of MDMA and psilocybin therapies in Canada under the Special Access Program, and the research director for the Microdosing Collective non-profit. She is a passionate educator and advocate and her interests extend beyond neurology, encompassing plant medicines, women's health, and the potential of music to enhance healing. Beyond healthcare, she is a musician, a writer, and a speaker, and has ventured into creating communities centered around music, philanthropy, and the fantastic world of fungi. She is also a co-creator of Public Secret, a music label and artist collective, and the co-creator of The Chemistry of Joy speaker series.

is a therapist, guide, and creative visionary with over 18 years of experience supporting individuals and couples in deep transformation. Her approach blends talk therapy, attachment-focused EMDR, psychedelic integration, embodiment, and joy. Educated at Oxford and Pacifica, she trained in Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness, and EMDR. Jane is the founder of BananaJane and host of the podcast . She created the series, combining ceremony and dance, and co-created The Chemistry of Joy speaker series. A film producer, her credits include The Illusionist (Executive Producer), Crazy Little Thing (Associate Producer), Of Night and Light (Co-Producer), and she served as an advisor on Michael Pollan’s How to Change Your Mind (Netflix).
